Gearing for the trip

I switched over from my 1 up seat to my H-D 2 up Hammock seat. It's more comfortable on long rides and makes it easier to carry my duffel and backpack (as shown below from my 2014 Route 66 trip).

Weather doesn't look great for Monday and Tuesday, but that's why we have rain gear. I'm looking forward to hitting the road and getting a few thousand more miles on the bike.

I also geared up the bike with an extra RAM mount, to allow me to use my Hero3+ to film the ride. 

I'll be working the bugs out of the system till I get to US 129, then hopefully we'll be good to go.
